This tool locks the LH side cam sprockets from turning when the timing belt is removed preventing cam sprockets from spinning and eliminates potential valve damage.

Another big plus is this tool allows the timing belt job to be done by a single person with ease by locking the LH cams in place.

Excellent tool! A must have for every EJ owner!

This tool works great and is a must have for any mechanic or enthusiast with a Subaru EJ platform! This tool makes timing belt removal/installation much easier by giving you peace of mind that your camshaft has stayed in proper alignment
