The CSF 7239 High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator is a direct-fit cooling upgrade for the 2016–2018 Ford Focus RS. Designed for high-performance street and track applications, it features a significantly thicker 2-row aluminum core, triple-pass coolant flow, CSF B-Tube technology, and a fully TIG-welded aluminum construction to provide increased cooling capacity and improved heat rejection over the factory radiator.
The CSF 7239 uses a 42mm-thick 2-row aluminum core, compared with the factory radiator's 36mm 1-row core. The increased core thickness, additional cooling row, and increased fluid capacity provide greater heat absorption and dissipation for demanding driving conditions.
CSF's B-Tube Technology uses specially formed aluminum tubes with an internal seam that increases heat-transfer surface area by approximately 15% compared with conventional oval radiator tubes. Multi-louvered cooling fins further increase airflow and heat rejection efficiency.
The radiator uses a triple-pass flow configuration, routing coolant through the core three times before exiting. This increases the amount of time coolant spends transferring heat through the radiator and helps produce lower outlet temperatures and more consistent cooling.
The radiator features 100% TIG-welded aluminum construction with CNC-machined mounting components. The stronger all-aluminum design eliminates the plastic tanks and crimped construction used on the factory radiator, providing increased durability for high-performance and motorsport applications.
The CSF 7239 is designed as a true drop-in replacement for the factory radiator. It uses OEM-style inlet and outlet connections, allowing the use of factory or compatible aftermarket hoses without requiring modifications to the vehicle.
