The GrimmSpeed Stubby Shift Knob is for car enthusiasts that prefer a shift knob that's on the short and stubby side. This knob is threaded for all manual Subarus with a thread pitch of M12x1.25, and will work with both 5- and 6-speed manual transmission models. The history of Grimmspeed its enugh .. if you looking for good quality just buy grimmspeed products..
This soft knob is heavy. It's over three times a heavy as the stock wrx knob. It's awkwardly wide and taller than you'd think a shift knob should be. It's well built and looks more expensive than it is. Ultimately, I was worried about it being too heavy and damaging the shift linkage over time.
Comfortable and reasonably priced. It doesn’t get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.
I couldnt resist and had to get this one. The red one in the picture is the same one but the stainless steel one is actually alot heavier in comparison and much better for those whos a hard shifter. Love it
Originally purchased this because my Likewise rattled with the solid trans mounts. Not only does this one not rattle, it stays cool in the 100° Midwest weather!
