It creates wind resistance, blocks critical airflow to your radiator, and forces you to drill holes in your front bumper. With the Mishimoto License Plate Relocation Kit, all these problems are solved. The Mishimoto relocation kit mounts to the OEM tow hook location and allows for a direct fit while hugging the contours of your bumper for a clean, seamless installation. Additionally, moving the plate to the side and angling to follow the body lines helps reduce wind resistance and free up space in the center to allow critical airflow to reach your radiator.

Got sick of getting pulled over for no front plate, so finally pulled the trigger on this and I’m more than pleased. Looks nice, and the angle of the mount works well with the angle of the bumper. Easy buy for all you two plate states like myself

I did not want to drill holes on the front bumper of my 2023 WRX, nor block/divert air flow to the radiator. This LP relocation kit is an elegant way to do it. Just remember to add some anti-seize compound when threading the rod to the bumper (front clip) bracket.
This mount is perfect for the VB WRX. I love it because its very high quality and its slightly angled so its flush with the car (see photo). Overall well worth the money compared to those cheap ones on ebay or amazon.
I like how I don’t have to have the holes in my bumper and the offset look fits the car. Just put some anti-seize in the tow hole if you live where snow flies.
