Excludes: Forester XT turbocharged models and 2011+ Forester models equipped with the FB25 engine.

Important — Alternative Oil Viscosity

Subaru generally recommends 5W-30 for normal maintenance. This kit contains 5W-40, which is an alternative viscosity and not a direct factory-specification replacement.

• Intended for customers who have confirmed 5W-40 is appropriate for their engine and operating conditions.

• Does not list the Energy Conserving or ILSAC certification specified in certain Subaru owner's manuals.

• The included OEM components do not mean Subaru approves this alternative oil.
