13mm socket
short and long extensions

Front mounting "hooks" help aid with holding the plate up during installation/removal
Simply install the 2 longer 8mm bolts into the forward mounting holes threading them in only 4-5 turns, we will hang the skid plate from the bolts during the installation process.
Then find the 2 grounding straps running from the engine to the chassis (one on each side of the motor. This is where the support brackets (labeled DR and PS respectively) will be hung. Be sure to leave all hardware very loose during installation to allow for final adjustments. Take care to make sure to reinstall the grounding straps are routed through the holes in the brackets and installed onto the oem bolts.

Take the skid plate now and locate the 2 forward slotted mounting points. These will hang on the 2 previously installed bolts in the front core support. Once in place take the other 2 shorter 8mm mounting bolts and thread them into the subframe through the rear mounting holes of the skid plate. DO NOT TIGHTEN YET
Once the skid plate is hung into place we will take the 4 hex drive flat head bolts and secure the skid plate to the chassis support brackets, go ahead and TIGHTEN these bolts.
Once the support bracket bolts are tightened to the skid plate we can go ahead and evenly tighten the 4 main 8mm mounting bolts at the front and back of the skid plate.
Finally once the skid plate is in place carefully tighten the 2 bolts in the chassis at the top of the support brackets, being sure the ground straps are installed properly and make sure they do not spin stretching the cables.
