A keyed 12V power source is recommended but not required, low power draw allows long term use periods without draining the car battery. If parked for more than a few days, make sure to turn off.

Love the customization of the lighting. Not a fan of the idea of needing to splice the wires into the headlight fuse. Decided to wire it directly to the battery for right now but that means I have to manually turn it on/off. Probably wouldn’t buy it again given the wiring was a bit annoying. Also I have the mesh grille so I had to bend a couple of wires to fit this one. But once it’s on you can’t tell so as long as you don’t plan on taking it off the slight modification on the grille isn’t noticeable
It looks really nice, only thibg u would say is have your own double sided tape ready.
Led is bright and the RGB is a nice touch. Only thing is if you hook it up to the battery you need some connectors but no biggie.

Works great with the custom and pre-selected patterns from the app. I installed this on the Noble Sport Grille and didn't take long. I zip tied the control box to the chassis in a safe spot and wired using a mini fuse tap to the fuse box in the engine bay. MB/IG3 10A fuse. This enabled the WRX RGB logo badge to power on when the car is in the on position and when running.
Easy to install, looks great, great quality too, not like some of the 3d printed ones you find on etsy or ebay.
