The OVERTAKE GR Performance Intake Post MAF Hose Kit replaces the ribbed hose between the mass airflow sensor housing and the throttle body on the GR Performance intake. Five layer fiber reinforced silicone, an internal support wire, and a smooth stepped bore. Built for the 2022-2026 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 running that intake.

You already paid for the intake. The last section of hose in the path is still corrugated rubber, and it is the first thing you see when the hood comes up.

The Details:

An intake upgrade on the FA24 handles the airbox and the tube, then hands the air back to a ribbed hose for the last stretch before the throttle body. Corrugated walls are there for flexibility and cost, not for airflow, and a soft hose in that position can pull in on itself when the engine sees heavy vacuum. The OVERTAKE coupler is five layer fiber reinforced silicone with a wire wound into the wall, so it stays open and holds its shape through the pressure swings. The bore runs smooth end to end and steps to meet the intake and throttle body sizes without a lip at either connection. A small clamp for the PCV line is in the box, since that connection gets disturbed on the way in. Install is two large clamps, a screwdriver, and a few minutes of a Saturday on a 2022-2026 Subaru BRZ or Toyota GR86.
