We all love a good weighted shift knob for the smooth and direct feeling they offer to the shifting experience. The biggest issue that we have found with many heavy-weight knobs though is that they get extremely hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to their steel bodies. We have found that engineering plastics like Delrin are way better at reflecting heat and staying cool to the touch, however, these do not nearly the heft of a steel knob.

The Overtake ModKnobs are a perfect combination of the positive aspects of both materials without retaining any of the down sides. Our kit starts with a sleek 303 stainless steel base that is then mated to a Delrin handle. We utilize a single bolt to secure these two parts together along with an O-ring in a dedicated groove to prevent the parts from rotating independently during installation.
