Subaru claims the stock one doesn't do much and the plastic, yes plastic, will be fine. It's the most pitiful mount I've ever seen.

This thing is not just preventative, it's an absolute unit. There definitely is some NVH and with less torquing you will feel the Trans a bit more at lower speeds but is absolutely worth peace of mind. It's affordable and easy to install.

TMIC off and literally two bolts. No lift needed, no bracing anything (nothing is under tension) and about as DIY friendly as it gets.

It’s a sturdy piece. Expect some noise transfer to the cabin. Small price to pay for a positive feel in the drivetrain.

Excellent product, perfect installation.

Definitely helps with thr bucking when going low speeds in first or second gear, can also hear the starter a lot more clearly when turning the car on as well. Driving in first from standstill is now extremely smooth. I recommend this to any wrx or sti owner!

I can definitely feel a difference at low speeds with this pitch stop. Can’t really tell if it increased nvh, maybe exposed some rattles from my tweeter wires that I just zip-tied out of the way. No complaints, excited to see how it pairs with the Group N trans mount.

Absoultely changed the feel of the car, feels so much smoother and drives a lot cleaner. 100% recommend, easy install, just don’t lose tools in the engine bay!

If you drive a 15-17 WRX or STI, I also recommend getting the pitch stop brace. In 2018, they made the firewall thicker, so it isn't really a concern. This replaces the literal factory plastic one, removes a TON of body roll.

Cleaned up low speed rocking a bunch. Traffic isnt punishing anymore. Def makes more NVH but these arent luxury cars so who cares. Your spose to have an exhaust and stereo speakers anyway haha
