Reduce drivetrain shudder under hard acceleration by installing a PERRIN Pitch Stop mount. The factory pitch stop mount is designed to control the pitching of the engine and transmission under light to normal acceleration. Subaru's with power and drivetrain upgrades will need PERRIN's more aggressive option.
Under hard acceleration, the drivetrain is being twisted front to back from front axle torque twist. To control this front to back twisting, Subaru created a pitch stop mount. The factory pitch stop is made of plastic with soft rubber bushings, allowing for a significant amount of movement under hard driving conditions, creating drivetrain slop & shudder.

Keeps shifts smoother with no added nvh
First off Jeff is my hero. That man comes through with everything. I ordered a black one but wanted the blue one. I emailed iiR and Jeff got it handled in like 2 minutes I swear. Install was easy for the most part. The hard part is getting the new one in. If you have a aftermarket exhaust the NVH is not that noticeable. I actually like the added NVH to be honest. Wakes the VB up a little and makes it feel like you're driving a sporty car!
Amazing, immediate throttle response difference.
I installed this pitch stop and it was a major difference in the smoothness of the shifts in manual mode and automatic. Took out all the hesitation from the motor moving. I paired it with the Perrin CVT transmission mount support. Unbelievable difference
It makes my pitch stop. Dane hooked me up with this for a great deal, arrived at my house next day. Makes the 1-2 way crisper and less Jerky. Geoff Chungus smokes his own toenails so noone else can. There is a tad bit of NVH, but definitely livable. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

This helps get rid of most of the "bucking" you get when your cruising around 2500-3000 rpm and let off the gas for a moment and get back on it. With the stock one in my photo its got a ton of play and depending on how your engine is its hit or miss how bad the bucking seems to be from one to another persons. For me its always been really bad the buck is pretty intense at times in 3rd gear going off gas back on cruising around. My only concern is that now you've got mismatched mounts and may want to do engine mounts as well to keep them same durometer. NVH atleast for me is pretty noticeable you can hear the engine pretty damn loud with it after install, may turn some people off FYI. on a VB its like 6 bolts and 1 clip to remove intercooler barely a 15 minute job
