Fitment note: This product has been designed as a direct bolt-on to your VB OEM midpipe, as well as the PLM midpipe which is available to purchase separately in the resonated or non-resonated version. It may not fit other aftermarket exhaust systems. Also, this product will not fit the SPT (Subaru Performance Tuning) model.
Features:
The PLM axle back exhaust is a direct bolt on to your OEM mid pipe, or y-pipe. These are muffler deletes designed to be significantly lighter by replacing the factory parts.
The axle-backs look good and sound great. The only downfall is the hanger positions. I had to change bends in the hangers to install the exhaust so that there was recommended space around the exhaust from the bumper.
For the money, they are very good. I love the sound and they were easy to install. Unfortunately, the driver’s side was so close to the bumper that it melted a little. I caught it quick and bought some longer hangers which did the trick. Overall, I’m very happy.

I was super excited to install an axle back so I could get a deeper exhaust note and this exhaust did achieve that. I love the sound, but unfortunately I’m going to have my Subaru dealer reinstall the factory mufflers. The fitment was fine on the right side of the car, but the fitment on the left was quite bad. The exhaust tips sat way too high and they ended up touching the plastic exhaust finisher on the car and as a result, they started melting that plastic piece. I tried to adjust the fitment for quite some time with no success. I think the exhaust looks and sounds great but cannot recommend it due to the damage that it caused to the exhaust finisher.
Best priced axle-back exhaust on the market. Highly recommend it.
Easy to install and super loud. If you want something quiet these are not for you . But they are awesome and for the price .. can’t beat it !

We put this on my brother's wrx and definitely woke the car up and from what he tells me, the car feels quicker. It pops
This is a great looking exhaust. Definitely loud cold start so be prepared for that, but once it warms up its got a great tone with a really nice pops at high rpms once warmed up. It was a very easy install took me less than 15 minutes alone in my garage with just jack stands. Overall great exhaust for the price and honestly most axlebacks are going to sound similar since they are just straight pipe no muffler.
