Part #: SUB-14001AC540This red intake manifold is made of aluminum unlike the original plastic intake manifold from 2013-2016 FR-S' and BRZs. It was designed to compliment the changes made with the 2017 model year. Currently only available from the factory on 2017+ manual vehicles.
Throttle body gasket is recommended.
NOTE: To mount the DI ECU, you can modify the older bracket or purchase a newer bracket for bolt on install. You can also purchase the Velox / FT86SF ECU bracket and choose from 3 anodized colors.

There is nothing wrong with the stock manifold granite this one flows a little better but it’s a lot of work
You can get this for many reasons, from wanting more performance to just wanting some flare to your engine bay. The finish is great, and the added performance you get out of it with some other bolt-on parts can make a difference once tuned.

I just installed this on my 2016 Subaru brz and you can tell a bit of throttle response increase and hear your engine sound a bit more but nothing crazy
