Subaru OEM Weather Strip Seal - Trunk Lid (02-07 Impreza, WRX, 04-07 STI) | 57532FE000

Overview

The Genuine Subaru OEM Weather Strip Seal (Part #57532FE000) is the factory-original trunk lid seal designed to keep your 2002–2007 Subaru Impreza, WRX, and 2004–2007 STI watertight and weather-protected. This exact-fit replacement restores the factory seal between your trunk lid and body, preventing water intrusion, wind noise, and dust from entering the cargo area. If your current trunk seal is cracked, compressed, or leaking, replacing it with the OEM part ensures you get the same quality and performance your Subaru left the factory with.

Fitment & Compatibility

This weather strip seal is designed to fit the following Subaru vehicles:

Note: Verify your vehicle's body style before ordering. This seal is for sedan (trunk lid) applications only — not compatible with hatchback or wagon variants. Always cross-reference part number 57532FE000 with your VIN or factory parts diagram to confirm fitment.

Installation

This is a straightforward DIY-friendly replacement. The trunk lid weather strip typically presses or clips into a channel running around the trunk lid opening. Begin by carefully removing the old, worn seal from the channel — a plastic trim tool helps avoid paint damage. Clean the channel of any old adhesive or debris. Press the new OEM seal firmly and evenly into place, working around the full perimeter. No special tools are required, and most owners complete this job in under 30 minutes.
