Torque Solution Thermal Oil Filter Blanket for Subaru EJ 15208AA12A oil filters is an easy solution to help reduce oil temps. The design of the EJ engine has the oil filter placed where the header wraps around it. This causes the oil temps to increase due to radiating heat off of the header. Our oil filter blanket will help to block that heat keeping oil temps down especially during long pulls or spirited driving. The oil filter blanket is equipped with magnets for a super easy install, which keeps the blanket in place. Another benefit from the magnetic design is to be able to trap fine metallic debris in the oil filter.

Great Heat Control

Easy to slip on and great for heat control. This is a must have. You can cool many other components in different ways, but a lot of owners forget about the filter. Especially for racing. Even daily driving can get up there in temperature. Affordable and easy to install. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself one!

Great design, needs improvement

I haven't driven on the street with this product yet, but initial observations are that the cover is a little too tall, resulting in the sewn material preventing the cover from being fully seated against the filter. The magnet doesn't seem to be very strong either, so I'm not sure how it's going to hold up over bumps, or rough terrain in the long run.
