Installation

AVS® In-Channel Ventvisor® Window Deflectors install easily using automotive-grade 3M™ double-sided adhesive. No cutting, trimming, or drilling is required.

Installation steps:

1. Clean and prep the upper window channels thoroughly

2. Peel the adhesive backing

3. Align and press the deflectors firmly into the window channel

4. Roll the windows up to apply pressure and ensure proper adhesion

Important Window Calibration Note

This vehicle is equipped with a “bounce-back” safety feature, which may cause the windows to stop or roll back down after installation. This is normal with in-channel vent visors.

To recalibrate:

1. Pull the window switch fully upward until the glass stops

2. Continue holding the switch for 2 seconds

3. Leave the windows fully closed for 72 hours

4. Press the down switch and allow the window to fully open

Once completed, the one-touch up/down function should operate normally.

If bounce-back persists, ensure the visors are properly seated in the channel.
For vehicles with one-touch windows that prefer a simpler install, tape-on vent visors are also available.
