The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit helps reduce engine bay heat and pressure. These louvers help improve the flow out of the engine bay and airflow through the radiator and charge air cooler (when equipped with a FMIC), achieving better cooling stack efficiency. Reducing the pressure buildup in the engine bay also reduces front end lift, creating a slight bump in front-end downforce. This reduction in engine bay pressure also helps the TMIC (Top Mount Intercooler) work better.
Verus designed these louvers to be installed on the OEM hood due to the unit already being extremely lightweight. During the design process, Verus utilized scan data as well as CFD to place louvers that flowed well with the hood's contours and in a low-pressure location on the hood for highest air evacuation.

Really great instructions and templates! I have never done any kind of auto body work and it turned out great. I used electric shears and airplane snips to cut my holes. Measure multiple times and be patient, you can do it!
Not a mod that is for everyone specially with how much cutting you have to do but definitely a nice touch to the stock hood specially if not running a top mount anymore.
Bought these to add more of a race look to my 22 wrx. The install isn’t too bad as long as you have the tools. Get yourself a dremel with a saw blade and it’s pretty easy. Take your time, measure 5 times and get cutting. Install was easy, just a bit time consuming but nothing you can’t do at home. Just because and cover the hood when working so you don’t scratch it. Would recommend. I absolutely love them!

These look sick AF! If you're worried about the install, don't panic, you can do it. Verus sends a fantastic template. Be sure to spend 30 minutes measuring....seriously though... take the time to measure the fitment correctly. I laid a tarp over the engine bay to catch any metal shavings. And used vinyl to protect the hood during the cut. Then pick up a rubber gasket kit to go over the metal cut outs on the inside of the hood.
