Beautiful but a pain to start threading

I ordered these lug nuts with my new cosmis R1 wheels, they are absolutely gorgeous I will say, but they are ridiculous to get threaded on properly. I’m not sure as to why, they seem to start binding here and there on the wheel studs. I even tried them on brand new wheel studs I had purchased ( you will see why later in this review) and still got a bind when threading them on. Not sure if it was a bad batch. (Not all of them binded) but long story short. Had to order a whole new set because I had 3 of them strip threads on the wheel studs when I took the new wheels off to adjust ride height for the new tire size. So we will see how the next batch is. If they have the same issue I’ll just go back to using the non wheel mate bearing type.
